The Street Division of the
Public Works Department is
responsible for the repair
and maintenance of the
Village's streets and utilities
within the public right of
way, including the public
roadways, sidewalks, curbs, streetlights, signage and storm sewers.
Road repairs and maintenance cover approximately 280 miles of roadway within the Village. Repairs include the filling of potholes within the pavement of the Village maintained roads. Many of the roads in Orland Park are not part of the Village's street system. A list of the streets not maintained by the Village can be found by clicking on the
Street Maintenance Jurisdiction Guide. If you would like to report a pothole on a Village maintained road, you can call the Village's Pothole Hotline at (708) 403-5010 or submit the location by clicking on the online
Pothole Report Form.
Maintenance within the road right of way includes over 3,500 street lights and 13,000 storm water inlets. To report a street light that is out, please fill out our brief on-line form
Street Light Outage Form.
The
Neighborhood Road Improvement Program is overseen by the Street Division.
In addition, the Division also performs seasonal maintenance such as
snow plowing,
leaf pick-up, and
parkway tree maintenance.
